Born in Rochester, NY, and raised along the shores of Silver Lake in Perry, NY, Dave’s early life was full of change. As the third of four boys, he and his family moved over 20 times across six counties in Upstate New York before he even finished high school. These experiences gave Dave a deep appreciation for stability and the importance of having a place to truly call home. After graduating from Geneseo High School in 1996, he chose to settle in the Finger Lakes region, close to his younger brother in Geneva, with a determination to build lasting roots and a sense of community.
Dave worked full-time while attending night classes at Finger Lakes Community College, where he earned an AAS in Accounting. This marked the start of his professional journey and was the first time he felt a true sense of belonging since his childhood. In 2005, his family grew, and he secured a stable position in the energy industry, eventually becoming a Credit Manager—a role he held until 2019. Though the career was rewarding, Dave longed to make a more positive impact on his community, which led him to the real estate world.
Switching careers at 40 was a bold move, but Dave was confident that his life experiences and financial expertise would enable him to help others achieve their homeownership dreams. As a homeowner himself, he understood the joy and pride that come with finding the perfect home, and he wanted to help others experience the same. In the fall of 2019, he joined The Young Agency, having already partnered with them on his own real estate transactions. Today, as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Dave brings dedication and expertise to each client he serves, assisting buyers and sellers throughout Seneca Falls and the Finger Lakes.
